McKinleyville CSD will be starting the Hiller Sewer Lift Station Upgrade the week of June 29th and continuing until the middle of August. The location of this project is adjacent to the Hammond Trail near Hiller Park and the Wastewater Management Facility. (See map below) This project will include the removal of the underground Package Station and installing submersible pumps over the wetwell to improve energy efficiency and save operational costs. Heavy equipment will be utilized to excavate and haul material. During this time, the Hammond Trail will still be accessible to the public, and we ask that you use caution around the Construction Zone while enjoying the trail and park.
