General Information: McKinleyville Community Services District’s Park & Recreation Department is now accepting applications for Skate Camp Director. Some hours are required in the spring for training, planning, and preparation. Camp programming begins June 17th, 2024. This is a seasonal position with the District and does not include benefits.

Applicant Qualifications: As a Skate Camp Director you will be responsible for creating and supervising summer curriculum, managing registration, securing supplies, meeting with parents, programming, and leading activities for small and large groups of children ages 5-12 years at the McKinleyville Skate Park. Qualified applicants must be 18 years of age.

Applicants must have experience working with children. Experience and interest in skate etiquette, street and vert riding, skills and culture. 

Pay Range: $17.30 - $19.28 per hour

Program Hours and Shifts: The camp is in session Monday-Friday from 8:30am-12:00pm. Time will be needed in addition to the six weeks of camp for preparation and planning.
